Characters
are from Nat's original story "Bible of the Devil" and i'm in
charge of random character design. A story of regret, seeking power, revenge,
false beliefs, comrades and angsty bishonen (i wish). How far it has come
since the random birth in my old (and Nat's current) workplace. How many
months have passed. Finally a new layout, and its gonna stay for quite
a while. Arguably one of my biggest art kessakus / accomplishments to
date.

holly shit i have not blogged for like forever. Was just too busy over the weekend over stupid jobs and setting up my new computer. its finally up and running now, but i need to get a new computer table for it. i threw away the old bended one, so now the CPU is just sitting around on the floor. I went to too much trouble for this stupid com that i sorta got ripped off for. Stupid me for not reading the quotation properly. I should have made sure i got a pentium duo instead of a normal Pentium 4 HT. And the fact it comes with vista is already bad enough. AND though i requested 2 x 512 ram, they gave me only 512..and i had to run on that for the past week, which is quite horrible. SERIOUSLY.
then there was the issue of the computer dealer giving me real bad service like one word emails with the word "Wait" when i asked for a delivery time and date. I had to CALL, only to find out that they'd be randomly dropping the CPU down at my home the very next day. Well, if i didnt call to find out, nobody would have been home. Then what? Seriously what are they doing? Then they forgot to add in 512 ram, so now i wanted to change it to 1GB, but they wouldnt let me...i'd have to pay the full price for 1GB ram, and not be returned the $99 i paid for the 512. T_T WTF? The bad thing is this com only has 2 slots for ram..so if i get more ram, it'd have to be 1 GB and i'd have to sell off or take out and waste a 512..
anyway, next i need to install photoshop so i can start some art again. I am trying to think how i should execute ping, drn and doinkz stories about phones and ego.^^ i miss drawing, but lately wheres the time!! i had to bring work home to do layout for a job that wasnt even comfirmed!! its 16 pages or relayout from scratch! WTF. i'm glad i dont have to see that anymore. no point adding to my stress. I need to install freehand and stuff as well, and get back my mircosoft office which was kidnapped by my jap class classmate and never returned (even with reminders, along with Maihime, wolf's rain and last exile CDs-T_T i want those back dammit!)
also, with bittorent running, i finally got to catch up with some anime i missed. gintama 50 was just precious>_<; they talked about how they should improve the anime, and ended up with stupid ideas which were basically just adding X, V, Z or 2 to the back of the title, pretty cure, gundam & tarzan crossovers. And then there was DragonBleaPiece >_<;LOL. so crack! shounen onmyouji ended decently, though some character appearances were rather pointless...in reborn 26, mukuro never poked his eye outT_T, didnt think they'd animate that anyway *rolls eyes* lets see how they kill the varia arc. Also, i am missing a lot of Death Note and Code Geass subs, so i need to redownload a lot of old stuff still X_X. I also have not tried my ipod on this com yet..damn it needs a battery charge.

hmmm, yesterday Nat and I had lunch with ping, and it was quite fun, since she was all out to show off her new 1K toy - a phone with GPS. Apprently, having GPS didnt help her from getting lost trying to find my work area where we were supposed to meet up. haha.
I'm sorry ping that i made fun of you spending 1K on a phone. Coz i think i have to take that back since i am spending close to that fixing my damn computer. Unlike yours however, its not a guilty pleasure, rather its essential to my life or i will rot and die at home. I could fix the old one up for about $600+, but thats not very economical since they said my model's parts were obselute (its 5 years old haha remember?). So i called sales and i got a quotation for 1K for a brand new CPU. My initial quotation was around $800 for a AMD 2.4GB with 1GB of ram, but somehow i am more inclined to get an intel....i just have not heard too much about AMD around enough to suddenly switch to using it. It comes with vista, and they wont downgrade it for me, so i think i might need to get that battery pack for my Pod, to be absolutely safe. damn microsoft.
anyway, right after lunch i had to run down to a clients place for a briefing. i am now stuck on having to come up with a layout for a newsletter FROM SCRATCH and need to hand it in on MONDAY. I took leave on thursday, friday is a public holiday and i have no time for anything on sat. WHAT does that leave me? i totally broke down in the office. I couldnt take it with ALL the bloody clients and changes coming back at the same time and all being rushed. 2 cups of coffee werent enough to keep my sane and i ended up hitting myself with a book and asking a colleague why the hell i was still working there. she said bad things come in threes, if that job is my third prob, maybe it'd end here. My other colleague asked me if i wanted to pass that job to someone else, call me stupid, but i refused. I went to see the client. the client expects me to do it. and passing it to the other designer just reflects even worse on me, not to mention it makes me look unproductive and whiny and incapable. I admit that partially, some of my ego cant take it.
The good thing about macs is that u can just copy and paste software over. I stole a freehand from my office mac, now all i need is the password. =O But that doesnt save me that i gotta work, ALOT :/
I am alone in the house with my aunt today. i feel a stronge urge to stab her with my sword.

currently posting from the office. I am not gonna give a hoot anymore even if they find this blog. And LKY doesnt deserve that damn award or whatever from aussie for the reason that i could be fired or sued for defamation with regards to various things i write on my blog. And out there in the US they can defame Bush and make a movie (and money) out of it. Just WHO on earth do some SG ppl think they are, suing left and right? oh wait i forgot, they can afford it anyway. :P but anyway, this is totally NOT related to anything i actually want to post now!

thank god i bought that external.
my internal hard disk is officially CORRUPTED and i dont know what to do. I have a spare hard disk, but i dont know how to replace and make it install windows. Okay, i know how to fit it into the com, but when i try to run the com, it tells me that i need a system boot cd. WHAT CD? windows CD? i put that in and it still told me it was the wrong CD. Anybody care to help, or tell me where i can get help? or tell me if anyone at simlim can just install a windows into my hard disk for me so that i can just place it in and it will work? Any ideas, suggestions and instructions can be kindly posted here.

if i wait any longer for my com to revive i think i will die of a heart attack. i have lost sleep, started dreaming of fixing the com at night, and worrying about my dad's condition isnt helping me much either. i LOST my fucking windows xp cd and had to freakin get a new one, and i had not enough $$ that day to get me a vista version. so i had to get XP! SINCE WHEN was windows so expensive?! hail the damn days when windows 98 cost me barely $100 at challenger (if i dont remember wrongly). Either that, whole of sim lim is out to rip me off. i should have gotten a copy at the it show...but then it would have meant i would not have enough for my PSP.... i'll die of sorrow and heartache if anything happens to my PSP and ipod...oh, and no com now, means no ipod. I CANT CHARGE!!! can i use the mac? but will it format my pod?X_X;;; anyway, i heard that ipod software isnt very compatible with vista, so i guess i wount get it yet till all is clear...

今日 ボスとボスの秘書と一緒に食事しました。ボスが「一緒に行け！」と言われて、断らながった！大変緊張していたが、結局あんなに悪くなかった。QUAYSIDEと言うたてものにある漫画喫茶店で ボスに奢ってもらって、その上に漫画2冊もいただきました。どうする～？！なんか借りができたみたいな感じがする。X_X
I had lunch with my boss and his secretary today. T_T;;; omg.
He had always insisted that i visit this manga cafe at Quayside but i never got to go in the end coz my weekends were packed with jap class, riding and the hospital. So today he said, "today we go there for lunch!". and i was totally "huh?!" so thats the way it ended up...
but, that cafe, called Bongout, was a really charming place. It has some pretty nice jap food (i had curry rice, and i thought it wasnt bad at all), plus if u eat there u can read their books there for free. The books there are all in japanese though. And they're also for sale second hand for $4. My boss actually paid for my comics;____; cries. Is he trying to make me feel bad and indebted?! free lunch and comics? i guess i'll be good for this week...X_X. Next time maybe i should bring Nat and QL there.

I was pretty free in the office, until late afternoon. Rather i do have work, but right now i am just taking my time with it. For example this poster that i have to create from scratch. I'm to lazy to think anything and my brain isnt working. Deadline on thurs for artwork doesnt help the slackness, and yesterday out of boredom i started on something on freehand that i just HAD to finish today.
Kinda wierd but, this is my first attempt to ever draw a chara on freehand out of my own interest without references or scanned outlines. This made me miss my tablet SO BAD. Pen tool and mouse is not quite what i like using the most>_<;;;
i clocked out early today and went to join Nat and her new colleague (angel?) for dinner with Pam at some Korean BBQ restaurant, which was not half as posh as Seoul Garden(which isnt posh really, but u get the picture) in the middle of geylang. Pam rattled on till i nearly feel dead asleep on the table. In the taxi, she said i looked sleepy, so i looked for an excuse, and said it was the korean background music they played in the restaurant..or maybe the oil. She said it was the smoke, and i thought "no, actaully 90% was you".

REBORN 14巻によると、雲雀さんの誕生日って子供の日なの？！＞＿＜；たいしたことないけど、私と同じだから ちょっと面白いと思った。
うわああ～やっと帰った！今日は ちょっと父に悪いが、日本語クラスのあとで病院へ行かずに SUNTECのIT SHOWに行った。
一人で行ったよ！ちょっとさびしいが、一人でよかった＞＿＜；；人が大瀬すぎた。HALLだけに入るため４５分もかかりました。人込みの中で歩いているのは大変だったが、結局手に入れたいものは買ったから、もんくいわないで 満足です。
では！紹介しましょう！
これが銀さん。
After jap class today, i skipped going to the hospital to see my dad (with my moms's permission by the way) and went to the IT show at suntec. ALONE. Whoever thought of having 6.5 million ppl in singapore must have been seriously retarted, becoz if with 4 million an IT show is so packed like sardines in one day, i cannot imagine it with 6.5miliion. Either extend your IT shows, or dont ever hold one again! I can see why no one wanted to go with me. O_o. or at least it should be one of the reasons. So terribly crowded! The bridge was totally stuck and packed and jammed i thought it was gonna crumble any momment. IT took me like 45 mins just to GET IN the stupid place. X_X. The first thing i saw was of course the PS3. It shared an entire level with Mircrosoft. Way to go Sony. So tempting!!! and they were playing games on those huge plasma TVs. WTF i so want that. (both the PS3 and the plasmaX_X but i will settle for just a PS3 when the time comes) but no time for that, it was time to push into the jam packed halls upstairs in search of an external hardisk and new monitor.
No idea how i made it through one floor and get that external hardisk T_T....
i was lazy to scout for too long coz i was a direction idiot and kept losing my way, so after a while i settled for a 320 WD external harddisk with some unknown brand casing for $185. I now have so much free space on my PC! hurray! I can wait till a series is over till i burn! hurray! My DVDs will no longer be a total mess! hurray! Now hopefully the external doesnt fail me. I named it Gin-san 銀さん coz its silver. hahha. Anyway, i had to push and "excuse me" my way through all the way looking for the damn booth, and then to get the attention of the damn person mending the booth...if u dont shout to them, they wont service u.-_-. Btw, i think that place really was like a wet market selling fish. There are promoters on the stage going "last set, last set, free DVD player who want?!"X_X

Anyway after spending too much time waiting and searching for the harddisk, i went in search of a new PC monitor. Because i was too lazy, i narrowed it down to just LG, BenQ and Acer, coz the booths were nearby each other. Nobody could give me a specific answer as to whether the monitor would work with my bloody G4 mac at home. In fact, only NAT could answer the question. WHY? But anyway, though at first i want to get and LG one, an Acer one on offer caught my eye and i decided to go for that instead. So there u go. My new 19'' monitor for $255, plus a free useless USB fan. Whats that for?! give me mouse or something instead! i'll bring it to the office to amuse my self.

kuro-san. my PSP. But i didnt get it at the IT show. It wasnt sold out. They just didnt sell it there. *stabs sony*. but its a good thing i didnt get it at the fair actually. It was about 7pm after i was done, so i cabbed down to sim lim. (dont expect me to walk with that monitor!). I went to a random shop on the first flow, and told the fellow to just make me an offer. I was too tired to research. So i got it for around $400 (damm GST). But thats with casing and a 2 GB memory card. I actually asked for a 1GB card, but the fellow said "hmm, 1GB cant put much games lah!"..i think i immediately got the picture, so i switched it to 2GB. Got some stupid games from him but the only titles that really interested me were dynasty warriors and cough Bleach 3. hahhaha. My friend will get me more squeenix stuff anyway from his collection. hahaha. and no Nat, i havent regreted YET.
